It has been a lovely settled start to term 2. Students have been enjoying our change in breakfast club, being able to sit with their friends/siblings in the GP Hall on the colder mornings. Several students have mentioned it is nice not having to remember to take their hat out to play. (Hats will not be required now until September 1.)
As it is getting colder in the mornings we strongly encourage students to be wearing their jumpers or jackets to school. Polar fleece jackets and half zip jumpers can be purchased from the office for $30. Soft shell jackets (without logo) can also be purchased from the office for $45.
We recently had a delivery of soft fall which a number of our students have had the opportunity to help place in the playground. Our grounds are looking magnificient thanks to the hard work of our EFA Team - Coop, Kay, Ann and Steve.
Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra
On Monday 6 May our students from Kinder and Prep were invited to the East Devonport Child and Family Learning Centre (CFLC) to see the performance by the Tasmania Symphony Orchestra. Thank you to the CFLC for the opportunity!
Cross Country
Last Friday was our Cross Country carnival. It was fantastic to see the sportsmanship and our students trying their best. Thank you to Miss Sharman and our staff for supervising and supporting the students to run their course. Final scores were announced to students and are listed below.
Tasman - 3100 | Spirit - 3000 | Empress - 2900 |
