As we come to the end of term 2, it is a great time to reflect on how much we have been able to achieve. From outstanding athletic achievements with our cross country, school soccer and netball teams to over 20 students entering Brixibition. This truly does show that our students love to challenge themselves when given the opportunity.
See Saw is now available to all families and I hope that you have been able to access your child identification code to ensure you receive all updates and communication. Again, if you need any support with this please do not hesitate to contact the school. There will be a support session in the GP hall from 2.50 until 3.15 Wednesday the 3rd of July for anyone who needs further assistance.
Other highlights this term include our grade 5-6 leadership day at Camp Clayton where our leaders really were challenged to work as a team. It was fantastic to see so many of our students show great initiative and problem-solving skills.
Terrapin Theatre Company had their production “Feathers” for us all to enjoy today. Feathers focussed a sense of belonging and how we need to be comfortable in ourselves. These are great themes for our children and the performance was an excellent reminder of kindness and treating everybody with respect.
Our school lunch program continues to support our children in so many ways, we again have been recognised for the outstanding work of our TAFE program and Kitchen Assistant Katrina.
We look forward to the rest of the week, and hope everybody has an enjoyable and safe holiday period. We look forward to seeing everybody ready to learn on day 1 term 3.
Breakfast Club is a very important part of our student's day especially during those cold mornings in term 2 with milo being a big hit.
We would like to thank the East Devonport Fellowship Group for their kind donation of $400 towards this program ensuring students continue to start their day with full warm bellies.
