On Friday, local businessman, Rotarian and historian Mr John Stuart gave an interesting and informative talk to our year 5 and year 6 students about the history of East Devonport. Students from Andrew's Creek Primary also joined us. Mr Stuart had also planned to walk the students around the new Heritage Trail but was unfortunately cancelled due to the inclement weather. The Rotary Club provided a beautiful barbecue enjoyed by the whole school after Mr Stuart's presentation. We would like to thank the Devonport South East Rotary for organising this event and the barbeque our students thoroughly enjoyed.

The Heritage Trail starts at Pioneer Park and finishes at Tea Tree Lane. Walking this would be a great school holiday adventure for the family.
