Another term is about to end and we are half way through the school year. I would like to acknowledge our parents and carers who have had a sick child or children this term. Hopefully the illnesses doing the rounds in the North West/Devonport region presently, have finished and we can have everyone back at school, every day for term 3. 

Parent Teacher

Summative reports went out last Friday for students in Prep to Year 6. This Wednesday, parent/teacher meetings commence, with meeting on Thursday and the following Monday and Tuesday. During this time, parents may be contacted regarding attendance issues by their child’s home room teacher. Mrs Karen Whish-Wilson and myself will be meeting with parents regarding attendance issue that have attracted a 15 day letter of unauthorised absences.

Staff out in term 3

I would like to wish Mrs Wendy Steven and Mrs Karen Graham, who are both taking Long Service Leave for all of term 3. I wish them safe travel on their respectively holidays and look forward to hearing about their adventures when they return for term 4.

New Play Equipment

Work has begun on our new play equipment. We are installing 4 swing sets. This will be used by the Prep - Year 2 students. Swings have been a popular request from the students. We acknowledge that the year 3-6 students also wish to have a swing set, however, we need to raise funds for this to occur.

School Holidays

I wish every one a relaxing end of term holiday. Term 2 finishes on Friday July 7th and term 3 starts on Tuesday 25th of July (Monday 24th is a student Free day)
