The role of a School Health Nurse is to support schools to create physical and social environments that promote good health and wellbeing to students, whilst also assisting to improve health outcomes for all children and young people in Tasmania, including their families. My role is also to support and assist families with complex health care needs, provide parents and families with a variety of resource pathways and to provide advocacy for the children and young people of Tasmania.
